Another Big Tent?

The Wall Street Journal reports that a new GOP Grass Roots movement is now being formed. "At least half a dozen leaders of the Republican Party have joined forces to create a new political group with the goal of organizing grass-roots support and raising funds ahead of the 2010 midterm elections, according to people familiar with the effort.
The organizational details of the group, expected to be called the American Action Network, are still being worked out, but it is expected to contain both a 501(c)3 and a 501(c)4 component. In simpler terms, a 501(c)3 can advocate on policy matters while a 501(c)4 is an election arm.Republican leaders expected to be affiliated with the group include former Minnesota Sen. Norm Coleman, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, former Bush adviser Karl Rove, Republican strategist Ed Gillespie, and Republican donor Fred Malek."
Coincidentally on the very same day that Senior Bush and Jebb Bush met with President Obama and the topic of that meeting went highly un-reported in any media, comes this great 'new deal' (pardon the pun) under the disguise of a new "Grass Roots" organization.
Now unlike some of you my eyes have been open for many moons. I've know for a long time that the democrats were being controlled by a progressive movement called, The Socialist Party of America. The members are flagged on my website CleanHouse2010.webs.com the list is extensive including such notables as Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank, not to mention the party's endorsement of our leftist Socialist in Chief, Barack Obama. It didn't take Glenn Beck's great stories to enlighten me. I'm old enough to have seen this leftist party evolve before my very eyes.
But also, since the days when I hoofed it on the campaign trail for independent candidate Ross Perot, the left side of the GOP was led by senior George H.W. Bush who solidly supported the New World Order, aka another Socialist based affiliate.
Jebb Bush has a tainted GOP history too, Jebb's appeal to Florida's highly diverse group of voters, along with his success in expanding the so-called "big tent" of the Florida Republican Party, were well known. Outside of Florida, fellow Republican leaders throughout the countryhave sought Bush's aid both on and off the campaign trail. Bush has been active in the neoconservative think tank Project for the New American Century, whose stated goal is to promote American global leadership. So here is the thing, there's already a Grass Roots movement that didn't need the likes of the Bush boys, the democrats or the GOP leftists. It's called the TEA Party PAC. It's comprised of real Grass Roots people who aren't falling for the Big Tent game anymore, a collective group of more than 50% of American Conservative voters who are tired of the Big Tent, Big Government game. The purpose of this new group is really quite simple, to disband the TEA Party and move the followers into a Big Tent with more of the same. When the Democrat left fails and it is failing, the GOP left comes in to pick up and herd the people into a new leftist tent. Don't fall for it, no more lies from the progressives from either party, Americans aren't buying your AstroTurf progressive movements anymore. Go sell it in Europe where they continue to plug the dikes of progressivism. Here in the US we want what we were guaranteed under our Constitution 233 years ago to stand in place. It's called Liberty and Freedom and we aren't going to settle for anything less
