In an op-ed in the Washington post he details the problems of why Democrats can't blame Bush for their troubles and asks, "Here's what Democrats need to ponder: Can they prosper in the absence of George W. Bush?"
In my opinion it is high time they stopped blaming Bush for everything under the sun.
Dionne points out the many problems of actually running a country while doing everything to undermine it. (my words, not his) They talk about their "big tent" but don't really know how to work under it.
