This Is Why Paul Ryan Didn't Run for President  and it is very close to the reason I wish Dr. Carson was not running.  He needs to stay above the fray and be a great thinker and statesman.

There have been a lot of people who condemn the south for one man's actions.  This from the census bureau tells us there is more segregation in the northeast and midwest than in the south.

John Hinderacker in Powerline blog says what I have been thinking.  Actually, no: you may be a white Southerner, but unless you went into a black church and murdered nine people, you are not Dylann Roof. Roof was right when he complained that “[w]e have no skinheads, no real KKK, no one doing anything but talking on the internet.” There was no one but him, a fact that liberals can’t seem to accept. The whole of the southern states have been blamed for this act, called racist and other slanders.  Yet, in his own words Roof admits he did not find co-horts to help with his race war.  It just wasn't happening. I have to admit I get some racist emails from some of you on this list, but I would  not accuse you of thinking or condoning murder of anyone of any color. I might, however, accuse you of bad taste.

I found this in Gateway Pundit: Israel National News reported:  United States Congressman Louie Gohmert revealed Thursday that the Obama administration had “outed” an active Israeli spy mission in Iran. Israel, he said, had infiltrated Israeli spies into mainland Iran via cargo boats.

Republicans, you have alienated a great many conservatives.  The current purging of conservatives in the House is not looking good for the party.  The conservatives are responsible for the majority status, to treat them as pariahs is not a good thing.
