Pushing Mao, Squashing FOX News

White House communications director Anita Dunn's quote from chairman Mao is very troubling when reviewed in context.

Columnist Johnathan Gurwitz does a great job of putting it into context in this piece -- and he illustrates the parallel mindset with the White House's campaign against free press and reporting of news in its attack against Fox.

He puts it so clearly one can't help but step back and think "What the hell!?!? This can't be true!"

But it is. White House communications director Anita Dunn, in a speech at a college, is quoting Mao's words of "inspiration" for his cause. Words used to further the takeover/suppression/death of millions of Chinese people.

She had so many great leaders to chose from -- leaders who did great things under tremendous adversity; from Martin Luther King, Jr. to Vince Lombardi, to Churchill to Jesus. Not to mention Abraham Linclon or Ghandi. And these are just the ones off the top of my head.

But she chose Mao. And she and her boss are going after a free press.

This is not the change anyone who values a free society voted for.
